Mini Post: (I) First Post From The Series Of Quick Updates

2–3 minutes

Howdy-hey, blog! Time flies, but Sprout & About (‘ing) is going well. Spouts are growing (tomatoes might have a problem, though! Help!), and the greenhouse looks so cute (but the spiders seem to double every day! Yikes!).

Recently, I have had a hard time finding the motivation to open my computer, focus on gathering my thoughts to write meaningful lines about the progress in the greenhouse transformation. I was traveling, working, being busy, and giving all other excuses not to show up and blog… You know what I mean…

BUT, coming to the point, I thought that instead of writing long posts about what’s going on in the greenhouse, I could share posts of bite-sized reads, quick takes on what I have done. Mainly, I will aim at publishing more photos, with, of course, some written content, too. But basically, I want to share about the ongoing project without overthinking and overcomplicating it too much. Perhaps keeping the read at 1 to 2 minutes in length would be ideal (see the little time-note at the beginning of every post, it’s calculated automatically).

So welcome to Mini Posts first post 🙂

Here’s How It’s Looking In The Greenhouse

The greenhouse interior is basically finished. Now it is all about waiting for the right moment to move the plants inside!
I am so thrilled to move on to the next phase ❤

I HAVE NEW PINK BOOTS! ❤ I love them.

Plant Progress

In general, I would say that I have managed quite well to support the good growth of all of my plants. It was only a few days ago that I noticed yellowing leaves and spots on the Marmande variety of my organic tomatoes. While I am trying to understand what might have caused this, I must admit that this discovery saddened me a little. Fingers crossed (+ plenty of love), and I am not giving up on them quite yet!

Also, it seems like the chilis and watermelons might benefit from some extra nutrients as well but I am feeling content with their growth so far 🙂

More chilis and watermelons, now in new, bigger pots. Cucumber is coming on the bottom right.

Marigolds make great companion plants, so there had to be more of those!

The vine trees are showing signs of spring. I adore ❤

Thank you for scrolling to the end and keeping up with the Sprout & About project 🙂

Cannot wait to share more of the transformation in the blog soon!

And by the way, this was a 2-minute read.

[…] I previously mentioned in Mini Post (I), there have also been some unfortunate happenings with my tomatoes. Not all of them, luckily, but […]
