Hello, hello, hello beautiful beings!
Here’s the long-overdue update on the process in the garden.

Let’s cut to the chase, and I’ll jump right in.
I have set up five different garden beds in the plot outside, each filled with the best companions for every plant. There’s also potato growing in the middle of the garden plot, but we’ll not go there this time.
What’s more interesting, is what’s growing in the garden beds, and I will share a snapshot of those below 🙂
- Pumpkin and French bean. (Or what should have been a French bean). I have no clue what happened, but NONE of my five bean seeds that I sowed sprouted (neither inside the greenhouse, in garden beds, in a pot, nor in the garden bed outside). Hence, the reason why I initially put up the support canes, but now they will support the overly big pumpkin instead!

- Squash, cucumber, lettuce, beetroot, and dill. All amazing companions ❤

- Spring onion (which was already growing in the garden), carrot exp. 1, pea, and onion. Against all odds, even the pea is growing in this old soil.

- Tomato, thyme, lettuce, rocket salad, nasturtium, spring onion. Here, I wanted to see if the tomatoes would grow outside, and hey, they did! ❤
Yes, I know I must do some trimming here because this bed looks like a mess but nonetheless, everything is (growing) in order.

- Carrots, parsley, and marigold. Also known as the carrot experiment number 2. and kale. I briefly “mentioned” it here: Thinking And Doing Around Carrots ❤

The thing here is that it has been two weeks and I still don’t see a single kale sprout. Instead, and for better or worse, I spotted THREE TOMATO sprouts in the kale bed! I cannot help but wonder, how did these get here? I mean, I am pretty sure these are tomatoes, right?

And then, some flowers to brighten up the garden with a few newbies. Find there sunflowers, nasturtium, and small calendulas. Although I might have sown the calendula seeds quite late in the summer, I am really hoping that they will still have time to bloom this year.

Not me, again, doing crazy gardening experiments and crossing my fingers in hopes for miraculous success…
Anyhow, it has been such a pleasure walking aroud in the garden and documenting the plants growing process for this post. I am very satisfied with how everything is going. Oh, except the French bean, that one is a bummer… but I guess something just wasn’t right this time and next time might be better.

I will leave it here with these colorful and gorgeous cornflowers 💙
And one more thing. Now anyone can comment on the posts, not only WordPress users. Byeee!
